COLOR FUN FEST 2015

Last week we did the Phoenix Color Fun Fest 5K Run. It turned out to be a lot of fun for the kids. There were soooo many people there.

This was the kids’ first 5k run. They did awesome! I was very proud they participated.

On Top of a Mountain

Saturday I completed the first item on my 2013 to do list. I climbed to the top of Squaw Peak in Phoenix. I met up with a new friend, Steven, who suggested the hike a couple weeks ago.

Hiking is an awesome experience. It was physically challenging but not overly demanding. I broke a sweat […]

April 2011 Update: Spanking My Butt

Crazy Month. I need to not wait so long in between posts because a lot has been going on and I want to share it all.

3 Steps to Master Yourself

“No one is free who is not a master of himself” -William Shakespeare
I’ve read a few books on personal development and success. It takes a lot of effort to be successful at anything but if an individual is disciplined and has learned to master their thoughts then anything is possible. Really successful people make […]

How I Diet

How A Typical Diet Goes
My family is starting yet another weight loss competition.  After 3-4 years of competitions you would think we wouldn’t need to lose any more weight but the problem is the way I and most other “normal” people diet.
Breakfast:
1/2 grapefruit
1 slice whole wheat toast
8 oz. skim milk

Lunch:
4 oz. lean broiled chicken […]
