Happy October. The Aquabats! are from Orange County, CA. The lead singer MC Bat Commander (Christian Jacobs) started the band in 1994. Their style can be categorized as rock, pop, ska surf. I’ve never been to a performance but from what I’ve seen I’m sure it would be a lot of fun. 5 guys dressed up in phony super hero costumes jumping around singing about Pizza, Midgets and Fighting Monsters – how could you not have a good time?

I’d never seen an Aquabats music video before, even though I’ve got most of their first few albums memorized by heart. This was a pretty silly video, and I don’t think that the cheesy visuals and sound effects added much to the otherwise great music.
