Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that anyone can edit.  The articles are usually very accurate and up to date thanks to volunteers.  Another better resource to find what people are looking for online is google trends. http://www.google.com/trends/hottrends this will give you the top 100 search terms for each day of the year including today.

The list saddens me. Folks are either looking up what the world deems “Superstars” who for the most part are totally lacking as role models, or they are looking up sex. However, I do truly like Wikipedia, and I have never looked up any of the things on the list – well maybe Twilight stuff. I do enjoy looking up historial figures, and stuff about geography. Just the other evening, Dad came in and found me looking up stuff about the Sahara desert. And one search on Wikipedia usually leads to another – kinda like potato chips. You can’t eat just one.
