One of the recipes my children request most isn’t for cookies, cakes, or any other baked goodies… its for play dough – chocolate play dough. Yes it does taste delicious and of course it leaves a mess (as any good play dough does)! You create, cut, shape, and eat! I can’t figure out where I got this recipe, so if you know then please tell me! This is the recipe:
Edible Chocolate Play Dough
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 Tbs cocoa
- 3/4 c powdered milk
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Cream the butter, corn syrup, and vanilla. Beat in the cocoa. Then add the powdered milk and powdered sugar. Mix Well. Ready, set, play! If the play dough gets too sticky, just add a little powdered sugar to your work surface.
